It is in the washing machine as we speak, 11.20 pm.
I will take a photo in good daylight tomorrow.
This, together with Judy's challenge, starting Monday, will be my next projects to focus on.
The yellow and red quilt is made with the Tri Recs tool.
I started using my yellow scrap strips, but after doing the Sunshine Quilt in July, I actually have to cut more yellow strips.
I do not plan to make this quilt so big, 4 by 5-6 squares maybe, the squares being 10" finished.
I will donate it with the Sunshine quilt.
I've never used a tri recs tool, but your triangles are looking great using it!
ReplyDeleteI like the blocks you're making there. Wonder what it'd look like with a bright plaid instead of the strippy triangles?
ReplyDeleteThat is a very interesting quilt there - I like it!
ReplyDeleteI like the blocks you've made. I also don't have the tri recs tool. Maybe i'll have to see if i can find one somewhere.

That is quite original, such fun. You must be doing more than jsut an hour a day. I'm trying to keep up with you - have been spending time, but not much to show for it yet.
ReplyDeleteAwesomely cute! Great job!
ReplyDeleteGratulerer med ikke bare ett, men to ferdige hvite/ lilla tepper til jentene!
ReplyDeleteStort!
Way to go on finishing the purple quilts! I do like that double four patch -- it goes together so easily and looks so great!
ReplyDeleteI love your yellow and red blocks -- what a great way to use scraps and I like the color combination.
OOO that yellow & red is nifty. (Sorry to hear about the bleeding purple & poor quality hand dyed fabric...)
ReplyDeleteI like these blocks too - I bought the Tri Recs tool 6+ months ago but haven't used them yet. I thought about making a star block with them but I like these scrappy blocks better.
ReplyDeleteI like these scrappy blocks. Fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI love these red and yellow blocks - I've put the tri/recs tools on my wish list now!
