To Work Oh Bold Seamstress

This tote is at the stage where it could turn into an Ufo now.
I don't make Ufos anymore, right - so I better get at it!
I want it finished in November and I want to use it tomorrow at a mini guild meeting, and the only known way, without a wand, is to do one seam at a time until it is done ;-)

I have decided on 2 inside pockets, one big with zipper and one smaller, without zipper, for keys and such. I have also bought a long brown zipper today.

I have not decided on the handles yet - whether to make them shoulder length or to use store bought short leather handles.
Well - I have to make the lining with the pockets anyway, so instead of thinking it to death I better start and see where the process brings me :-)

  1. This tote is turning out nicely. You will get it done today. I know how easy it is to put things aside and start on a new fresh project. You have been very good about finishing your projects and an inspiration to me.

  2. I like that thought "...one seam at a time until it is done" I'm going to keep that in mind next time I get frustrated.

  8. I hope you keep on and this doesn't become a UFO. Cause it's way too pretty for that.

  9. I like it lots and lots so far! Eager to see a picture of the finished product.

No more UFO's ever - now that is an amazing resolution! I don't know if I'd ever dare make that one!

  10. How cute - I don't make bags but I've seen several now that tempt me to try. Are you going to make your deadline and have it finished in November?
