Having an attack of nervous pre op energy I decided to take it out on these two care quilts I started when the surgeon strike were active, and I did not know if I were coming or going.Today I have machine quilted them and sewn bindings on, all by machine.
It was good to finish these quilts so I can start fresh when I come home from hospital.
The strip quilt was very fun to do and I have more planned in my head. They are great for using strips fast.

I wonder if you can bottle your pre-op nervous energy and save it for when you are recovering. That would be cool, wouldn't it?

So great that you are able to work off your nervous energy and finishing up quilts at the same time! It's horrible that you have to deal with a surgeon's strike while you are waiting for surgery. I wish you the best while you are waiting, and during the surgery and through the recovery period.

Such good news for you that the stike is resolved and you can move forward as planned and in the meantime you found a perfect venting place for the stress and created some wonderful comfort quilts.
