More progress
Being a teenager's mom sometimes includes late Saturdays and late driving, so while waiting for the time to go pick DD up, I worked on the alternate blocks.
All 17 are now done, but not yet cut to size.
I must admit I am not sure how to approach the cutting to size so the blocks come out balanced, but come the morning I am sure I see it in a clearer light - pun intented ;-)
It is 1.35 am, and very past my bedtime.

Someone is going to get much pleasure with this project you are working on. I am working on my alternate blocks also. I should finish them tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a good weekend.
I promise you, there IS life after teenager. Mine are 20, 22, 25 and all are away at college in another part of the country (4000km away).
ReplyDeletePart of having your late night tho, ensures you get sleep when you get home, knowing all are in their appointed destinations safely!
I love your color choices for this project, can't wait to see it's next stages.
Ooooo! I don't miss those late night runs to pick up kids & late nights awake waiting for kids to come home!! I promise though, there is life after teenagehood!
