TTT - Things Takes Time
I guess you know all about it too - how the best laid plans runs out in sand and how life interferes with quilting and all that ?
Since the upcoming week will be busy with funeral and all, I am aiming at finishing 1 NI block a day, average, and will pat myself on the back if I make it :-)
Stash reducing wise these small blocks are a laugh, but they keep me busy indeed, and I have not been shopping at all, so even these 5 NI blocks have reduced stash - believe it or not :-)
I have baked bread today and I think I will keep at doing it regularly - I love the smell and the taste of home baked bread.
DD2 and I have also given the smoothie maker we got for Christmas another test run, with berries from the freezer. It was fun, and I am sure berry smoothies are healthy this time of year, bursting with vitamin C.
Nice Hanne. It may take time but it is going to be so worth it.
ReplyDeleteLovely block, Hanne, just lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous block...and I am not a big fan of red...but that really takes my eye.
ReplyDeleteDette blir så bra! Nå har jeg bladd meg bakover i bloggen din og gledet meg over alt det hvite og røde!! Har tillatt meg å "tagge" deg - som du vil se når du besøker bloggen min neste gang.
ReplyDeleteLise
I follow your progress at least once a week and I'm impressed! The sundayblock turned out great.
ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding me of the smoothie maker I boutht at Nille last summer....Think I'll give it a chance with yoghurt and frozen berries, that's the receipe, isn't it? Your blocks are so nice!
ReplyDeleteYour red and white blocks are so beautifull. I want to make some too, later. My WISP list is long enough as it is.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful block. Love the contrast between the light and dark reds.
ReplyDeleteHanne, I'm so sorry to read about your father-in-law's death. I was very close to my FIL and had a very difficult time with his death a couple years ago. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteI love how it 'pops' with those colours. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou and your family are in my thoughts, I hope that you are all OK after the funeral.
ReplyDeleteI love the colour red and so am very taken with your NI blocks, is there a pattern? i am looking forward to seeing your blocks all stitched together.
