A lovely Easter tradition

P1050550

This is the third Easter I come to visit May Britt to eat her lovely homemade custard buns, also called Sunshine buns here in Norway :-)
It has been a rainy day, so we have had to stay indoors this year, but Sunshine buns can brighten any day!

May Britt has bought a couple of yards of zippers without the zips, so we had a challenge getting all the zips on.

A zipper without zips are of no use!

A sturdy pair of pliers came in handy doing the zipper job!

May Britt is blogging her new sewing kit - pop over to her blog to take a look!

I have brought a pile of handwork - maybe I even can get something done :-)

I have brought some Yoko Saito Log Cabin blocks, 3 stars to finish,

and more redwork blocks.
The block you see here I finished yesterday while watching the Easter crime film on TV.
Easter crime, both in books, in the papers and on film are a tradition in Norway.
Very often the crime films are made like mysteries, going over several evenings - not the shoot and run kind, more like English crime, Agatha Christie and such.

I have looked forward to his Easter visit for ages :-)
