Days have been flying – and I have been down with a nasty cold.
The furball and I have been resting a lot this week.
I am also working on something I can not show you yet, but as you see it includes a Dear Jane block
Last year I promised my friend Cindy a 2” Papa’s Star for her miniature Dear Jane quilt.
Now it is made and looking good :-)
Compared to an ordinary Papa’s Star block (4,5 “ + seam allowance), you see how small it is.
It was fun to do!
Spring is not springing for a long time yet, as you see from my veranda and garden. Can you see the cat routes in the snow?
DH brought home this big bouquet of tulips today, so even if outdoors is not much spring like, the living room is getting there :-)
Eye candy and inspiration for a quilter interested in old quilts and quilt history – bought from Quiltmania.
It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade. ~Charles Dickens

That small Papa's Star is AMAZING!!
ReplyDeleteI like those star blocks with the teeny tiny stars in the middle.
ReplyDeleteWOW! 2 1/2" ?? I can't imagine working on something so small. It looks fantastic as does everything you shared.
ReplyDeleteThat Papa's Star is amazing! I love the table topper the flowers are on.
ReplyDeleteOh my dear God in Heaven, Hanne that block is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI am so honored and humbled that you would make that block for me.
I can't imagine how I can repay this favor.
Thank you, Dear Friend.
Fine blokker du har sydd - skal bli spennende og se de i prosjekter videre.
ReplyDeleteSorry you have not been well....love all your blocks.....and your flowers are beautiful...please take care....
ReplyDeleteFantastisk imponert over miniblokka! Helt utrolig - heldig mottaker!
ReplyDeleteFor noen flotte blokker!!Drittstilig den lille. Likte ikke så godt snøen, men tulipanene veier opp :o))
ReplyDeleteThe mini Papa star is very impressive. I'm going to have to stop complaining about snow (although we did have a squall today) after seeing what you have left! We've lost a lot to rain, which did bring some minor flooding, but it's gone down quite a bit (I'm in New Hampshire - northeast coast of the US).
ReplyDeleteA 2" mini papa's star? WOW that's tiny!
ReplyDeleteI love your blocks! The one star is so tiny!! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteEnough snow already! Bring on spring!
