You know I belong to a very nice quilt guild, don’t you?
Since New Year my guild has taken part in sewing care quilts too, and I am so enjoying the company :-)
I brought a couple of half done quilts for inspiration, and spent the day cutting orange fabric strips to make an orange quilt like my bright green quilt.
I like to make kits and work from there some other day.
I cut most of my orange fabrics to 2,5” x 6,5” pieces.
My goal is to use all my orange fabrics in this quilt, but it looks like I have enough pieces cut for 2 quilts. Time will tell :-)
Anne is making lovely bright quilts from happy batiks,
and so is Bjørg :-)
Astrid has made this beautiful Disappearing 9 Patch quilt.
I can report a finish - my care quilt # 10 so far in 2011
