The last couple of weeks have been filled with all kinds of actions, and all have been fun :-)
The Dear Jane big block quilt is finished, binding and all, as of today :-)
It is quilted by Merete at www.sy.no,
and thoroughly inspected by the local furry quilt inspector A-Z :-)
I have spent time with my friend Marit ~ notice her wonderful applique blocks in the background ~
and spent time with my dear friend May Britt :-)
We had a lovely weekend together, stitching, picking fabrics for projects, inspecting work in progress, and work in not so fast progress, laughing and enjoying the days.
The Scandinavian Christmas blocks you see to the right is out of here, but they were fun to work on then, nevertheless.
We were picking fabrics for one of May Britt's projects
I was admiring her finished top and her lovely quilting :-)
We were finding a new border for an old Wisp.
The local quilt inspector, Rusken was relaxing too. It was a perfect no-stress weekend :-)
I am still working on my Scandinavian Christmas BOM with my new fabric choice, and on something not yet ready to be shown online.
This weekend I had the utmost pleasure of travelling to the west coast teaching, and I had a lovely group of skilled students :-)
I have a lot of photos, but they will come later, in another post.
