Life has been busy lately – but in spite of quilting being sort of on the back burner, I have managed to finish Life Is Beautiful!
I brought it to Show & Tell at my guild last week.
It has been a while since it was a pile of blocks.
Joining strips quilt as you go style.
Numbered rows laid out.
Joining rows quilt as you go style.
Done!
This quilt and all its stitcheries brings back happy memories and I will treasure this quilt, even after all the 31 meters of binding.

I love those strips in between - they really add something to the quilt!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing your quilt! It looks beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteNydelig teppe, Hanne
ReplyDeleteWell done. It's so retry in the soft blues and greys. That's an awful lot of binding but it does look good. I like the neat finish without extra orders on the outside.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing the how you join the blocks - I have always been tempted by the Quilt-as-you-go method. Lovely blocks:)
