Now I am waiting for the last 2 blocks of Lynette's Noah's Ark BOM.
I have not yet framed the blocks with fabric, but I guess it will come as no surprise to you that I will use different reds :-)
Since I have been without my big sewing machine the best part of December I have used my time catching up with this BOM, amongst other things.
I have also prepped things to work with after Christmas and New Year, and have updated my Work in Progress list on right sidebar.
My beloved grand-cat has spent a lot of time here lately, and she has claimed a new and a tad bigger box for herself.
She thinks Christmas preparations are greatly over-rated, as long as one has a nice place to rest!
The BOM is looking really nice! that looks like a great place to sleep, cute Grand cat :D
ReplyDeleteHow can that cat be comfy!? It always amazes me how both kids and animals can sleep so oddly :o)
ReplyDeleteWow, you are almost done with the cute little animals, I am three blocks behind! Yours in redwork are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLooks like your grand-cat is really enjoying the box:-) So cute! Our cat lays like that beneeth the oven in our living room all day. Quite lazy theese guys...:-)
ReplyDeleteYour BOM looks really good done all in red, I can't wait to see the finished quilt :o).
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Joy :o)
Lovely blocks! I hope to get caught up with mine during the Holidays...
ReplyDeleteI love your Noah's ark blocks. I have not framed mine yet either. I still have the December block to do yet. Yours looks great in all red. I love your grand cat. Reminds me of my kitty.
ReplyDeleteI love the Noah's Ark BOM blocks done in the red! They look great! I can't wait for the next two blocks! :0)
ReplyDeleteOh this is wonderful! I love it!
ReplyDeleteHanne - CJ from the Nearly Insane group just sent me over here to look at your Nearly Insane quilt - it is beautiful!!! I love it. I have been thinking of making it but after seeing the cover photo of the book the colors turned me off to this quilt so much that I put the book aside trying to figure out what to do with it = after seeing your color choices I think this is a quilt I will make after all.

Oh your grand-kitty is so cute, lol* My kitties like boxes and baskets too - I hear the friendliest thing a kitty can do is roll on their backs and show you their bellies! :) That's true kitty love!
ReplyDeleteYour Noah's Ark blocks look terrific. I am looking forward to seeing the fabrics you choose. Red quilts always look fantastic. Love the picture of Grand-Cat. My Oliver likes to sleep in boxes and baskets too.
