Yesterday was a another lovely sewing day, with laughter, friendship, fabrics and chocolate in abundance :-)
Here are some of the results:
Here is Bente’s quilt in progress - as you see, the Buggy Barn method - very neat with a Layer Cake from Moda.
May Britt is doing great - she has all the squares joined, the backing on and is ready to machine quilt and appliqué in one.
It is not easy to machine quilt with one of the Janome mini machines :-)
My disappearing 9-patches. Here you can see that there are more options, and how easy one can change a “boring” 9-patch to something absolutely different. My squares was cut 6” to begin with.
Here are the finished tops - May Britt’s partly quilted already :-)
Bente pieced another small top as well !
Here is my finished top.
I have more disappearing 9-patch quilts spinning in my head for future care quilts :-)
New blogger Siv Hege spent parts of the day with us and was working on a quilt that she took home before the photo session.
Siv Hege is celebrating her 40th birthday today!
Please drop by her blog and congratulate her if you have time :-)
Happy Birthday Siv Hege !!
