To my pleasure I found that I am able to do stitchery while being in the passenger seat of our car!
Not fast and not very much, but still…… beats looking out the window for hours on end….. :-)
I had promised these blocks from the Just Plain Nuts book to someone to borrow, and they went by mail on Thursday.
The setting is the same as the Nearly Insane quilt though, even if I used a narrower sashing.
When this top returns home I will finish it as a baby quilt I think, with a border on the top and on the bottom. Time will tell.
I have had questions about where to buy the book for this quilt and the Nearly Insane quilt.
I do 99 % of my book shopping abroad, online.
Type the book titles in your search engine and you will get several options :-)
A tip of advice though - check the shipping rates before buying. Some shops charge a sky high postage.
In between a lot of other activity this stitchery has been my sit down and do a relaxing thread work in progress.
I am looking forward to finish it soon. I have found a lovely fabric in my own fabric collection :-)
Hanne

Hanne - I love your stitchery. Can you please tell me where I can find the pattern for it? You work is beautiful, as always. And the Just Plain Nuts blocks are just plain nuts, but gorgeous!
