I thought I was very close to finishing this top - but - I really thought I had some more blocks, somewhere……..
Suddenly I remembered where to look and yes, I found more blocks!
I did in fact find 11 more blocks, enough to add one row to the width and one row to the length.
Some frog sewing (rip rip), some more cutting of background squares and some more sewing is needed before I can finish this top.
I do enjoy to work with Dear Jane blocks :-)
This will be a nice lap quilt once it is done.
Hanne
How nice when a plan comes together.
ReplyDeleteBetter to find them now than when you had it all quilted! You have already put so much work into those beautiful blocks it would have been a shame if you hadn't found them. The additional blocks are a great addition and now the quilt will be a nice size. Can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the finish quilt, and to attend you Dear Jane class someday :)
ReplyDeleteNydelig.
ReplyDeleteThe DJ blocks are beautiful in the Christmas colours.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing your hexagons, and for being able to move on to your list of projects. These DJ blocks look great. Glad you found the extra blocks before you had everything all quilted.
ReplyDeleteI really admire your tenacity, skill and use of time to achieve such lovely work.
