All the blocks for this project are done and trimmed to size!
The block are thoroughly cat-approved by the local quilt inspector :-)

Always curious, always seeking and enjoying challenges in quilting, embroidery, knitting and crochet.
14 down - 7 to go :-)
I am working in groups of 3 blocks, and now it is only 2 more groups to go (if I do 4 in the last group).
I have already shopped for borders and binding, and the fabrics a drop dead beautiful :-)
You have to wait a few more days before you can see them.
I got good help from kind quilting friends to pick the fabrics, and a lovely day was had by all at Lappemakeriet's Tuesday café.
As I am busy at my physiotherapist every Tuesday now, I can not come there much for the time being, so I have to enjoy every visit even more.
This week the schools in my area are having winter break, and I could jump in on a vacant physio appointment very early in the morning.
It is always very inspiring to see what my friends are working on :-)
Someone is snoring on my pink and brown fabrics as I write……….shhhh…….. I will not disturb her……….. :-)
I think I will search my Dear Jane software for the next 3 blocks to work on, very quietly……

I thought I was very close to finishing this top - but - I really thought I had some more blocks, somewhere……..
Suddenly I remembered where to look and yes, I found more blocks!
I did in fact find 11 more blocks, enough to add one row to the width and one row to the length.
Some frog sewing (rip rip), some more cutting of background squares and some more sewing is needed before I can finish this top.
I do enjoy to work with Dear Jane blocks :-)
This will be a nice lap quilt once it is done.

My Canadian miniature bear claims that the furball gets to much attention around here, and that it (he ? she ?) also looks good next to red - hehehe
I am addicted to DJ blocks - I can not stop making them!
Not at great speed, but slowly and nicely, always having my Dear Jane book close.
I am swapping DJ blocks with my friend Val in Canada. She is aiming for a full quilt, and I, I don't know yet, but I am enjoying the process, seeing every block as a full project :-)
I see that I have made 2 different versions of K7 - Rose of Sharing, unintentionally.
I have thought about making one in more than one colour applique for a long long time. It looks better than the drawing in the book!
Have I told you that I have bought fabric for plain squares to go with my autumn coloured DJ blocks ??

Another 2 to send and 2 to keep - and now I am on schedule, as these are my November blocks.
These blocks are pleasantly different in 3 colours and as you see I now get to use my beloved CW repros too.
I really like the vintage look of these blocks :-)
I must admit I had to look for the swirly red from the previous post last night, and yes, I found it online and ordered 1 yard.
It is a Judie Rothermel fabric and I had just a fat eight.
Next on my to do list is the stitchery tote. I Want it done this week.
