Almost a finish :-)

P1060598 Yesterday I had the great pleasure of picking up my Busy Little Christmas Elves quilt from Merete.
The design is by Gail Pan.
If you are Norwegian, Quiltegården has the pattern,
or if you like, you can buy it from Moore Patchwork and Quilting online here.

006[2]Here it is in Merete's studio, on the frame,

and here you can see a close up of the custom quilting - it is great !

I had bought binding, but when I washed it, I saw that I had bought 1/3 meter instead of 1/2 meter as I thought I had.
Luckily the shop still had some more of the fabric and I will prep and add a binding before next week :-)

  1. Your quilt is beautiful, I love Gail Pan's designs too, the colors you have chosen are lovely. Congratulations.

  3. It is a beauty Hanne! Almost there!

  4. Nydelig julequilt!

  7. Wow Hanne your quilt looks fantastic...

  8. Just caught up with your blog. I'm so sorry to hear you were in an accident. Hopefully your shoulder will be back in shape soon!

  9. Beautiful work, Hanne. The stars are gorgeous and adore your redwork embroidery. What a lovely gift!!

  10. I really love your quilt in the colors you chose. Wow, another quilt finish for you very soon.

  11. That is going to be a gorgeous quilt Hanne. I always love your stitcheries, and what a beautiful design she is putting in your outside border. Just beautiful!!
