Counting the smaller blessings :-)

P1040209I absolutely love boxes! I love them best when they are beautiful, and preferably made of metal, glass, cardboard or wood material.
I do not care to much about plastic boxes, but some of them have personality too.

There are so many nice vintage style boxes around these days, and this girlie box is so nice.
The Singer box is a true keepsake from days gone by.
I do not buy many boxes anymore, but I do enjoy the ones I have, on a daily basis.

DD2 spoiled us the other day, with Churros, recipe from this blog.
Strong black fresh grounded coffee and fresh from the kitchen baked goods - a moment to enjoy and remember :-)
These Churros reminded me a lot about the Pretzels from Shipshewana - my favourite is cinnamon & sugar.

The furball sends her greetings to other furballs in blogland - may your days be filled with happy bug hunting and lazy moments :-)

Birds_&_House_-_Painted_-_Cat_03A good memory is one that can remember the day's blessings and forget the day's troubles.

  1. Purr purr back from Frida and Rusken. They are having fun outside. Rusken chasing birds and bumblebees, Frida just looking at him, wondering why this ADHD cat never can relax LOL

Boxes are goodies for quilters. The one with the "window" is sooooo cute!!!

  2. I love your boxes, Hanne. I'm constantly on the look out for metal boxes - I love them, too.

  3. Hanne, I used that Bottom Line thread for English Paper piecing yesterday and it was fabulous! You can't see the stitches at all. I was impressed.
