My furry friend, Miss Rusket, enjoys her rests, but I am just plain bored being housebound.
I had to try doing some left foot work this evening, and with frequent rests, I managed to finish a block. I like using the foot pedal more than using the manual start and stop on the sewing machine.
I am aiming for more machine work in the morning :-)

Nice to see that you managed some machine stitching. Hmmmmm. Maybe I should be on the lookout for a handcrank machine. You just never know! :-)

ReplyDeleteYou sound like me recently---nothing much exciting you about stitching or sewing and a little bored with hand work. Of course, you have good reason since you are recuperating and temporarily housebound since your surgery.
ReplyDeleteSome machines are made so you don't need a foot pedal at all (my brother is) but I would think that would really take some getting used to and be a little clumsy for a bit anyway. Are you finding it is getting easier? Hang in there, Hanne!
