Monday this week I had the pleasure to travel with friends to meet Gail Pan and Helen Stubbings visiting the shop Quiltefryd in Tønsberg :-)
We spent the night in Tønsberg, attending a wonderful trunk show on Monday night and a class on Tuesday.
As you can see, I had my overnight bag very thoroughly inspected before departure :-)
I should have posted photos earlier, but I was unlucky catching a bad cold virus during the Tønsberg trip.
I have also been busy finishing 4 projects I am not allowed to show you in a while yet.
They are all done now, and I had the pleasure of doing bindings outdoors in the sun last weekend.
It is actually snowing again today, but the ground is bare yet.
On Monday we first stopped at a friend's for lunch:
Her house is filled with lovely spring flowers and a lot of wonderful quilts.
I love Log Cabin and these table runners with logs cut 1" really make me want to do Log Cabin blocks again :-)
Next on the travel plan was a stop at the shop Quiltefryd:
May Britt and I stayed there a while, shopping, chatting and enjoying ourselves.
The others went on to another shop, but we could not pull ourselves out of Åsne's wonderful place :-)
After, we had coffee in a very picturesque little coffee place - and we met a friend I have not seen in a long time. It was so nice to spend time together, catching up again!
More in the next post :-) Just go refilling your coffee mug!
