My travel work for the last 3 weeks has been stitchery.
It travels well, and I can visit and stitch at the same time :-)
I wish I could stitch while being in the passenger seat of the car, since we travelled a lot,
but no such luck.
I was planning to stitch while crossing the Atlantic too, but Air Canada does not have a overhead reading light anymore and the light in the plane was turned off for sleeping.
As you see I am working on Life Is Beautiful, by Helen Stubbings of Hugs 'n Kisses, and I enjoy the process and the sayings.
8 of 32 done :-)
Two snowflakes from Scandinavian Christmas are also done.
Since March was so busy on other arenas, and I have been away for most of April, I do have some serious catch up work to do.
Pink is my new neutral this spring :-)
We got a coupon at the Dear Jane retreat for The Cinnamon Stick shop in Middlebury, IN.
2 years ago I bought the same Vera Bradley purse in brown and turquoise.
The Hipster model is good, so the same model, a new fabric :-)
The luggage tag was a gift from the shop.
When preparing to travel,
lay out all your clothes and all your money.
Then take half the clothes and twice the money.

Just what I did, in case you wondered :-))

ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics you brought home from your trip. And your stitched pieces are very nice too. Is it still possible to sew in the aeroplane? I thought needles won't come through the big check at the airport (only in the suitcase).
ReplyDeleteHave a good time back home!
