Books - a promise to self!

This upper part of the blog post is removed by me because someone used it as an excuse to flame a designer I hold dear.
The post had frustrations about some books in it, but the frustration was not directed at the designs and the designers as persons, but at the publishing part.

The issue is being addressed on a higher level now - and all will be good in the future.

I also removed all the comments, not for not agreeing in what my friends wrote, but for not to fuel anyone out to flame others.
I hope you understand!

On a happier note -
these books are
The Very Best to work from:

All stitcheries and applique full scale, even those going over several pages.
Well worth the price, and believe me - I am willing to pay more for a good, usable book!
Natalie Bird and Anni Downs' books are always good!

The Some Kind of Wonderful is starting to show some wear -
I guess you can say it is loved.
If I love it to pieces, I will happily buy another!

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. ~Theodore Roosevelt
