First Sunday of Advent – a time to start preparing the house for Christmas, and a nice time for lighting candles.

I have tried a new to me cookie recipe today, inspired by Kris’ wonderful cookies at Lollys in Shipshewana.
I think this recipe could do with a little more flour to make a better dough – I guess the Norwegian flour is a little different from the America all purpose flour.
I have been ordered to rest more, so today I have done hand piecing.
Miss Cat loves that a lot, and I have not been able to do any organizing on my desk today. I guess I should hurry up and do some organization now while she is resting elsewhere.

Dear Hanne, I always enjoy searching your blog and I wish , you take the time it needs to rest ! Now I have a question - I love the 'scandinavian christmas'quilt so much. I have the pattern and also the iron-on-pattern for the stitchery, but it really doesn't work :((( In your blog I saw, you used something upon the linen and stitched throuhg it. Can you please tell me, what you used? I can't wait to begin my quilt :)))
