Relax – Christmas will come anyway……
How true is that!
A taste of the baking and a good cup of coffee was a nice break today.
Not that I am stressing much, but there are traditions to keep and things to do around in my Christmas house.
My Christmas poinsettia is up on the wall in the living room, like every Christmas.
It is so dark in the mornings and early in the afternoon – only 3 more days to winter solstice, the shortest day of the year. We have around 6 hours of daylight now – I am looking forward to more – and while waiting I am lighting a lot of candles.
My part of the cookie baking is done.
Maybe I will bake Christmas bread too – or maybe not – time will tell.
I still have some gifts to finish, but I am not stressing. If I am not done by Sunday,
I will buy the rest!

I like your attitude. Christmas is supposed to be peaceful.
ReplyDeletelove the poinsetta, have a wonderful time over the holiday period
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about Christmas. I don't stress, but try and enjoy every minute.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the days to start getting longer too.
I, too, take my time as Christmas approaches and usually find that everything comes together okay. Love that Poinsetta quilt, it is quite stunning.
