More progress

Another sandwiched quilt to work on during the weekend !
DH is going away this weekend, leaving tomorrow,
and you can see what I have planned - quilting as much as I can on this quilt and on Judy's challenge.
The blocks on this quilt are 10" finished and done with the TriRecs tool.
I have made 12 blocks and joined the quilt since yesterday morning.
This is an Ufo and it is good to have it done.
I have also put away the yellow and red fabrics and decluttered my sewing table :-)

When I need a break from big arm movements I will do the current round on the crazy quilt RR and play more with Tonya's letters.

  1. I am doing the Happy Dance for you since I know you were struggling with getting it to this point! Good for you--cute quilt.

I was trying to figure out where I had seen this quilt block--someone's blog or where? Of course! My family's guestroom---Jan has a little one done in 30's repros on the wall. Someone had made it for her or she had gotten it as a door prize or something---it was of a grouping of 4 small wallhangings. I have seen the pattern on the EZ Wrights website and probably have it printed off--the makers of that Tri-Recs you spoke of.

  2. How on earth do you make time to sew all you have done lately. I am so envious. I want to sew tooooooo :( This weekend I will!!!!! I hope so. Idar (my boyfriend) has to buy a lot of newspapers to read in while I am sewing. The new quilt is georgius.
I have a trirec to but have never used it. Hmmmmm....I have a lot of things for my quilting I never have used.

Hanne, it is such an inspiration the way you turn scraps into wonderful quilts. Your sunshine quilt inspired me to start with some Diamond in Square blocks I had lying on the bottom of a drawer. Together with other orphane blocks and different scraps I made the Jungle quilt. I finished it today and will blog about the result soon. Of course it is totally different from what you make, but all the same; Thanks alot for being my inpriation!
