I am also working on a new tote. Pattern from Bareroots.
I usually make my totes from my own ideas, but for once it was nice to do it from a pattern, more or less.
My other totes, purses and bags are lent out for the autumn and I only have an old worn tote for myself. I will do my own twist on this tote, making it smaller, but I like the stitchery.
I mixed up some colours in the late hours last night. The window frames were supposed to be blue but I made them brown. I thought about undoing them, but that did not appeal to me, so I am making the walls blue instead of golden brown. My tote, my choice :-)
Always curious, always seeking and enjoying challenges in quilting, embroidery, knitting and crochet.

Blogger did not let me add a fourth photo to the previous post, so here comes the rest.

Sounds like a good plan to me. My daughter wanted black walls and I convinced her she could live with black baseboards, and she chose white for the main color. I did make her black curtains to compensate.
ReplyDeleteYou are always so creative.... Even late at night.
ReplyDeleteyes, it is your choice-do as you like-and it's good to do bits and pieces of things sometimes...all at the same time, many things will be finished.
