A quiet moment

I am sitting here, quietly counting my blessings.
The strike ended this morning at 8 am. I called the hospital at 9 am and I am scheduled for Monday like originally planned. The strike was off in the very last minute for me.

The radio is off - no need to follow every news update, for the first time since Wednesday last week.
I am winding down with a cup of coffee and a thread of stitchery.
I sew when I am happy, I sew when I am stressed and I sew when I am tired, like now - I sew, therefore I am :-)
I will sew a stitch for every supportive friend I have today, around the world, online and offline. Consider yourself stitched my friends, and give yourself a hug from me.
