Counting my blessings after all

Purple eye shadow does not suit me much LOL
All things considered I can do nothing but count my blessings after all !

My eye is intact, my hands and arms are not injured, my headache will fade (soon I hope) , the swelling will go down, and the wound will heal, even if it will leave a long scar diagonal through my eyebrow.
It could have been so much worse......

I have done some comfort shopping at Honeysuckle Cottage - what else can a stitcher / quilter do in distress - LOL -
had lunch with friends, been to a guild committee meeting and had a very simple and good meal of fresh French wholegrain bread with cheese for dinner - I am home alone today.

Now to make a big cup of tea and find some stitchery to do while having a restful evening in front of the television.
No fabric boxes in wrong places, all light bulbs lit in all rooms in use.

Thanks for all the lovely, caring notes - they are very much appreciated :-)
