Very special gifts received

After the Dear Jane lecture I got this wonderful gift - a miniature silver thimble pin. It is one of 100 + a piece of fabric the same colour as the sunset can be by the sea.
I don't think the givers knows that I collect thimbles in all forms, which makes the gift extra special for me :-)

From Elin I got this gem of a book - lovely blocks and a lot to read.
I like quilt history and historical quilt patterns.
I have spent a lot of time reading and dreaming already :-)
