Fast and Fun Finish

Nothing is like a finish every so often :-)

I enjoy making heartstring blocks from scraps, and I must admit I like to work with few colours at a time.
I am sure I can make another pink heart quilt from the pink scraps I have left.
Once again proven, scraps breed by cell dividing :-)

Come autumn my local guild have plans for organized sewing of quilts to children with long term diseases.
Guess who volunteered to be in the group organizing it all ?
Therefore I will not send in any of the quilts I make before late in the autumn at the earliest, unless I make duplicates.
Nothing like having inspiration by eye and the good tactile feeling of fabrics.

I have made a point of bringing my care quilt to show and tell over the years.
We all have scraps, and even if one person can not help all, we can all make a difference for someone, right :-)

  1. I recently discovered your blog and your quilts are lovely.

  2. You set such a good example! And I can't understand how you can work so fast, the new quilt is stitched and with bindings already.

  3. Just lovely and so kind of you to be the organizer for such a wonderful cause...

  4. I love the quilt and you are so compassionate, and kind..

  5. This is really nice Hanne and so fast done! You are really organize LOL

  6. This turned out great! And so quickly! Someone is going to be very happy to receive this one!

  7. It looks wonderful Hanne and you did get it finished quickly - I'm going to post the photo over on HeartStrings if that's OK.

Thank you for visiting my blog :-)
Your lovely comments are very much appreciated.
Wishing you a wonderful day, wherever you are!
