You have to tilt your head - Blogger has tilted the photo and I can not do anything about that - I have tried several times.......
I just finished this Heartstring top and DH has promised to help me sandwich it as soon as the TV news are done.
These string tops makes a dent in the scraps, always, but a smaller dent than what I expect when I start, as always.
All in all this top used approx 8 yards, including the backing. The blocks are 9" finished and the 2 borders finish 2,25" each.
My plans for next week are to finish this quilt and the Town and City quilt from earlier this week, as well as working on my advent calendar and maybe put in a couple of threads on the hand quilting of Leanne's House.
Should keep me busy through the week :-)
Very pretty quilt!
ReplyDeleteA lovely quilt as always
ReplyDeleteIt looks great Hanne, I had blogger do that to one of my photos a couple weeks ago and nothing I did would fix it.
ReplyDeleteI really need to make a new *to do* list but I think I'm going to wait until I get back from Toronto since I only have Monday and Tuesday before we leave.
Nydelig i rosa Hanne.
ReplyDeleteHusband and sandwich, hmmm, think I should try that, hehe! Nice string quilt.
ReplyDeleteAll your string quilts look so very pretty and this one is stunning! good job on using the stash!
ReplyDeleteNydelig teppe nå i varmen, det er beundringsverdig at du klarer. Du har planene klare.... Jeg følger med.
ReplyDeleteLove your hearts!
ReplyDeleteI love it when string blocks make a pattern like your hearts. String quilts are addictive!
ReplyDeleteYour string quilt really makes me want to try making one myself! I had only seen string blocks with many colours before. - Blogger did the same tilting with one of my photos in my last post, I had to leave that picture out.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I think the strings multiply when we are not looking!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt - love how you've tied it all together with the border too!! My strings just keep multiplying too ... need to make another top I guess :)
ReplyDeletesweet quilt Hanne!
