You know I enjoy to travel, don't you ? :-)
Yesterday I had the lovely pleasure of going to Trondheim again, to give a speech on my favourite topic, Dear Jane, and to share some of my Shipshewana travel experiences.
What better way to start the day than to visit one of my 3 favourite Norwegian quilt shops, Quiltegaarden :-)
I love to photo safari in Siw's shop!
In the evening I brought my Dear Jane quilt, my Nearly Insane quilt, photos and more to Trondheim Quiltelag.
Here is Berit's Yoko Saito purse done !! Lovely it is too :-) Mine is not that done ……. yet…….. ;-)
Here is Berit and her gorgeous Dear Jane quilt # 2 !
The other one is blue and white, and it was on display at the Norwegian Quilt Association in March. 
It was a great Show and Tell, and it is always great to see what others are up to.
The room was filled with quilters - more than 100.
I got 2 gift cards to use at Quiltegaarden from 2 of my dear friends, since I have had the big 5-0 birthday :-)
From one of them I bought this kit - so cute! 
The pile of fabrics in the front I got from a very special friend of mine - it was a great surprise !
I added some money to the 2 gift cards and treated myself to more of the beautiful fabrics in the back and the goodies to the right :-)
Stay tuned - the fabrics will be cut into ---- tomorrow :-))

ReplyDeleteSå flotte quilter på bildene. Du hadde nok fortjent de fine gavene du fikk. Så kjekt å endelig få vite at det er en quiltebutikk i Trondheim. Mannen min er derfra og vi er der regelmessig. Har lett etter en butikk etter at Jordbærstedet ga seg, men ikke funnet. Nå gleder jeg meg til neste gang vi skal reise, da vet jeg hvor jeg skal ihvertfall :o)
