Sometimes…..

P1010022
P1010023

Sometimes it is hard to keep focused, so I exercise my right as a woman to change my focus from one project to another ;-)

I know I said that the Life is Beautiful quilt was to be my focus project through the Olympic Winter Games, but I sort of needed a break from these blocks.

Sometimes we all need some angels in our lives :-)

I finished the 4 parts of An Angels Story quilt through Tour de Fibre last summer, and they have been living in a box since then.
It is time to finish this quilt, for several reasons -
I Need a finish!
I love this quilt!
I need some angels in my life!
Anni Downs will visit Norway in May, and I will attend her 1 day class!

I know I have several projects I need to do something about shortly,
but i think shortly can start tomorrow ;-)

  1. That is a beautiful quilt! I hope you get it finished. I am VERY envious of you attending a class by Anni Downs! She is one of my favourite designers. :)

  2. they are both very neat quilts to work on - I have not been as interested in the Olympics this year for some reason and although I have watched some of it I have not watched it near as much as I normally do

  3. Nydelig quilt du er i ferd med å sette sammen. Fargene er skjønne og sticery'ene likeså :) Ha en fin uke ! Klem Lena

  4. I don't see a problem switching projects - it's good that you are doing UFOs of any kind! The angel quilt - is it quilted in quarters?? How will that be finished? Looks interesting.

  5. A girl has to have some variety in her sewing. Both beautiful projects, love the soft blues. You will love Anni, I'm popping into her shop today.

  9. Jeg skal plukke fram mitt engleteppe nå og få det vattert så jeg kan få det quiltet nå. Tror jeg må sy sammen en masse biter til bakstykke, men det blir fint det også.

  11. I wish I just had time to stitch and watch the Olympics. You're making great progress on projects during the Olympics! The Life is Beautiful may inspire me to work on mine again. And angels are always special.

  12. Så herlig at du har laget hele An angels story. Jeg har laget bare deler av den og brukt motivene i andre arbeider. (sist i en løper som er på bloggen min nå)

Jeg bare elsker disse englene, og bildet ditt blir helt nydelig !
