Finished :-)
This is finally finished and the sheep cushion front from long time ago, when farm theme was in fashion, is gone. It is so gone I am not even saving it. Back then we had yellow walls in the living room too.
I re-used the buttoned back of the cushion on this one, as it still looks good, in deep wine red with heart buttons. A clever idea. Less work and a good outcome :-)
The cushion is a 14" square.

Oh, Hanne, it's sooo cute ! You're really good at it, and with clever recup' ideas, too !
ReplyDeleteI just read your previous post "a slow week". Well, not so slow, in my opinion : you finished a cushion, made a new (perfect) NI block, and still managed to have some quilting done on your beautiful watermelon quilt ! That's much more than many of us !
I'm so happy that you're feeling your body progress. Slowly, but surely, dear, it's just a matter of time and regular exercise. In between, just quilt and sleep to your heart's content, it's the best therapy !
Hugs & smiles !
"Doctor Nadine" (LOL)
Kjempeflott pute Hanne. Og lur gjenbrukside med baksiden.

ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent idea, Hanne! Just replacing the front of the cushion cover! I love it!
ReplyDeleteAdorable cushion! Your week may have seemed "slow" to you, my dear but in my opinion you always accomplish alot. I hope that you continue to have a good recovery!
ReplyDeleteYour cushion is so cute and your stitching is just beautiful. Great idea of reusing the back of a cushion you no longer loved.
ReplyDeleteLove the cushion! And the fans are looking perfect for that quilt. You seem to be very productive while you are recovering! And you do seem to be recovering well, even if you have no energy or spunk at all right now. It will come back!
ReplyDeleteciao, my daughter looking your cushion tell me"mum I want a cuscion like, it's very nice". ciao ciao
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work as always.
ReplyDeleteIn this cushion you have three things I like very much: cats, patchwork and embroidery (the order is not important). The result is splendid.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, lovely, charming little embroidery. How friendly and welcoming it is.
ReplyDeleteWoW! I adore the motif! :D Could I ask where you found it or who made it?
