My friend Bjørg had a checkup sheduled today, after having eye surgery lately, at May Britt's local hospital.
It was ever so possible to make a real nice field trip of the 300 kms driving, so why not?
Agreeing to be the driver I had a chance to go to Elverum again, and meet a very dear friend and stitchery co-addict :-)
Another friend, Kirsti, joined us in the car, and we left for Elverum around 8.30 am today, with a scheduled Dr. appointment at 11 am.
After we met with May Britt at the before mentioned lovely quilt shop Lille Stasjon.
We chatted, had coffees, shopped, laughed, chatted more and had a great time.
May Britt and I helped Bjørg pick out fabrics for her Leanne's House too. Hers will be more eggplant coloured than mine, and I am so much looking forward to see it coming together.
The more doing stitcheries together the merrier :-)
After we left May Britt and Lille Stasjon we had a bite to eat. I am sure you can believe we had forgotten to eat all day, from early breakfast until 3 pm ?!
I guess we were high on Vitamin Q.
You know Vitamin Q, don't you ??
Quilting friends, Quilt fabrics, Quilt ideas and Quilt Fun :-))
On our way back home we stopped by Karin at Sy Sammen in Stange. It is always nice to meet Karin. She has her shop and internet shop located at her farm. Here Kirsti found what she was looking for - good :-)
It is good not all quilt shops carries the same fabrics and it is also good that all quilters does not like the same. Diversity is lovely!
My Leanne's House block # 2 is ready for basting and stitchery, starting in the morning.
You may remember I said recently that good things also comes in clusters?
This lovely day has come to its end, and it is time to call it a day now, dreaming of friends, fabrics, future stitches and fun :-)
